02. Plan


We can hop on a video/phone call or meet in person (if you're comfortable) to discuss logistics -- where would you like this session? When are we both available? What would make it extra special? I can also provide lots of inspiration and recommendations for time and place!

03. Photo Day!


For wedding clients, we'll plan and shoot your engagement session prior to the wedding day! As for the day of photos, you don't have to worry about a thing. I will lead you through poses, or stand on the sidelines capturing candids. Photos are typically returned within 3 months.

Why I charge an hourly rate


This simple structure offers you flexibility in how many hours you actually need. Instead of trying to fit your special moments into a pre-set package that might include things you don't want (or leave out things that you do), my uncomplicated pricing structure gives you full flexibility. It means:

  • you always know what you're paying for
  • you only pay for what you need
  • and there's less pressure to fit everything in (and if you decide you need additional coverage, we can add extra hours on the day of)

My hope is that this clear and transparent pricing structure provides accessible options for everyone because I believe everyone deserves their memories captured forever.

Pricing by Session Type

Families

$225

All family sessions are curated to match the unique dynamics of your family. Do your kids enjoy playing games? I have plenty! Would you prefer simple posed photos to frame on your wall? I can also do that! Sessions range in time and is completely dependent on how your family is feeling! I do regular check-ins to make sure the little ones (and/or pets) are still engaged. All sessions include:

  • up to 1 hour of coverage at a location within Portland
  • location and wardrobe assistance, outfit changes time permitting
  • an average of 40 professionally edited images
  • high-res digital downloads via an online gallery returned within 4 weeks


Couples

$250

If you're envisioning a surprise proposal, a honeymoon portrait session, or a cute date night activity, this is the session for you. I am a professional third-wheel and can be as hidden as you'd like me to be. I've been on the cutest dates from the grocery store, to a diner, on hikes, and can go wherever your love story takes us! All sessions include:

  • up to 1 hour of coverage at up to 2 locations within Portland
  • location and wardrobe assistance/access to my photography wardrobe, outfit changes time permitting
  • an average of 70 professionally edited images
  • high-res digital downloads via an online gallery returned within 4 weeks

Weddings

$300

Your wedding will be your best day ever. You'll be surrounded by friends and family that love you dearly. I would be honored to document all of the love, laughter, and joy that celebrates the two of you. All sessions include:

  • hourly coverage at a location within Portland
  • wedding timeline and photography schedule support
  • both documentary and candid style photos for your ceremony & reception, and posed photos of your family
  • an average of 60 professionally edited or lightly retouched images (per hour)
  • high-res digital downloads via an online gallery returned within 8 weeks

** Engagement sessions (within Portland) are included for 4+ hour wedding bookings


Add-ons

  • locations 30 miles outside of Portland subject to a travel fee (IRS standard mileage rate of $0.70 per mile)
  • second photographer $100/hr
  • shots on film $300 for all day coverage (please note that prints cannot be guaranteed)
  • content creation or iPhone videos sent immediately after session $30/hr
